We flew my parents out to Arizona to visit us for the 4th of July weekend. Tickets were reasonable and we knew my parents would need a break from it all before the wedding so we used the fourth as an excuse to fly them here. I think that this trip was just what the Doctor ordered and that they were able to take a deep breath and relax before the wedding. It was a great vacation for them as well as for us. Mom and Dad just loved hanging out with Elena and getting to know her better. She loved all the attention and warmed up to them quickly. We took Elena swimming, and to the movies for the first time while they were here and it was really a lot of fun. Elena wasn't quite sure if she liked being in the pool, but once she got out she was all smiles.When we went to movies she would get so excited watching the purple minions in Despicable Me 2. She is such a fun cutie.
